It will be extremely useful to be able to record a meeting with a client and revisiting afterward to make sure my notes are complete. Don't get me wrong, I take notes while at meetings but I don't always capture everything. This is another topic I don't have experience with but am excited to try out and experience for myself. I had heard of the capabilities of recording meetings so you may revisit at a later date. I haven't experienced this next part for myself yet but I hear that Web Clippings also integrate into Google.

The Web Clipper is similar to bookmarks but it allows you take notes on the web page you are interested in. You see a vague website in your bookmarks, wander what it is and can't recall why you added it to your bookmarks. You add it to your bookmarks so you can easily revisit the page and then it slips your mind. How often are you on a web page that you want to come back later.

It's so much more than that though!ĭisclosure: I have the free version of Evernote and have not upgraded (yet). I got Evernote solely as for note taking. I downloaded Evernote a little while back for that reason, to keep track of my ideas and anything else along the way. I need to keep better notes on my ideas I could have changed the world ten times over by now. I make a mental note of it and by the time I am home that idea is nothing more than a distant star that I can't reach. I bet you (not actually gambling here) that a game changing idea has come across my mind at least ten times. Have you ever been out somewhere, maybe to dinner with family or waiting at the barber for a trim and a great thought has come across you mind? Do you make a mental note of it and lose it later? I did that all of the time.
